Maclure Glacier is a glacier located on Mount Maclure in the Sierra Nevada crest of Yosemite National Park, California. The glacier is located at coordinates lat 37°45' N., long 119°16' W. Like most glaciers in the Sierras, the Maclure glacier is a small cirque glacier that is 0.5 km long and covers an area of 0.2 km². The mean elevation of the glacier is around 3,600 m. Both the Maclure Glacier and the Lyell Glacier, located nearby on Mount Lyell, have retreated since their first discovery. Despite the retreat, the two glaciers are the largest glaciers remaining in Yosemite National Park.
