Table

could anyone finish the table thanx

Should Luton and Notts County be included in this table? They've never played in the premier ship!

Freezing panes

It would be a useful feature to be able to keep the column headings in view while scrolling down a table which is longer than a computer screen. This feature exists in Microsoft Excel as 'Freezing panes'. Any chance? gdfkldfkldfklfd'hdfk —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.142.5.253 (talk) 06:05, 3 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wimbledon F.C.

Just wondering what the consensus is on this. Acknowledging Wimbledon F.C.'s history of participation in the Premier League (and thus their place on this table) I wonder whether the MK Dons should be the team with its league position etc recorded here as the "current position" (as of season end) of Wimbledon F.C. I'm not trying to promote my own idea here - I'm undecided to be honest, and as I say I'm wondering what the consensus is - but I do think that those filling in this table might be unaware that as of 2006 (if i recall correctly), the MK Dons reached an agreement with the Football Supporters Federation by which they agreed to surrender any claims to be Wimbledon F.C.'s successor club - that honour now lies with the London Borough of Merton, and not any other football club. If we take this, should we consider Wimbledon F.C. to be closed and stop updating their "current status" with the Dons'? Or should we continue to use the Dons' as a matter of simplicity and/or practicality? Falastur2 (talk) 00:22, 6 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wimbledon F.C. should be the team in the table, because they were the team who played during the Premier League. But according to the Football Association, Wimbledon F.C. are a distinct club from both MK Dons and AFC Wimbledon, so I'd suggest that the last season entry is incorrect. Otherwise the line is totally correct. Peanut4 (talk) 00:28, 6 May 2008 (UTC)Antwort
It was officially a relocation and rebranding. As far as I'm concerned, AFC Wimbledon is a new club, and MK Dons is the same as the old Wimbledon, although I'm sure it's lost most of its original fans (who call it Franchise FC, resulting in the creation of AFCW). As mentioned by Falastur2, MK Dons have now ceased their claim to Wimbledon's history, and the trophies won by Wimbledon have been taken to Morden library. (When Saturday Comes Issue 254, p26) When even MK Dons have stopped claiming to be the same club, it is definitely incorrect to imply it in this table. I'm not sure we should take it that far. While obviously I think we shouldn't credit the MK Dons with the Premier League history, I'm not advocating removing all reference to Wimbledon. Since the team in this table is "Wimbledon" and not "MK Dons" I've no qualms, and I think it would be wrong of us to deny Wimbledon's history in this table just because there is no club who can legitimately claim Wimbledon's history - if that were the case, then we should change the article on the first FA Cup competition to show only the six teams which still exist and remove reference to the other ten which have closed. Please correct me if I've misunderstood your comment, of course, but if you are arguing for removing Wimbledon from this table entirely, then I have to disagree. A misunderstanding. I am stating opposition to using MK Dons for the "most recent finish" column, in terms of the question raised in your original post. Certainly not outright removal! Oldelpaso (talk) 16:47, 28 May 2008 (UTC)Antwort
My mistake. Consider my last statement revoked. Falastur2 (talk) 16:54, 28 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sort order

The sort order on the "highest finished" column is broken, 19th is not higher than 1st last time I checked. 86.135.156.180 (talk) 06:40, 27 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
