hello world

Dashes

Hi. This edit broke a link. Please be careful. --76.117.164.50 (talk) 23:30, 22 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

I can't see where. And oddly, all I did was change 'crew' to 'crewmembers'. I don't know how all the other "changes" occurred, and indeed, they don't look like they changed at all. Looks more like a bug in wikimedia's diff algorithm. swain (talk) 15:04, 23 July 2009 (UTC)Antwort
You somehow changed long dashes to short dashes, which broke a link and a category. Did you use an external editor or something? I can't figure out how it happened either. --76.117.164.50 (talk) 16:19, 23 July 2009 (UTC)Antwort
No, I use Firfox/Mac, I edited it normally through the page; only changing 'crew' and nothing more. Perhaps the newer Firefox (3.5) has some wonky new "feature"? swain (talk) 16:21, 23 July 2009 (UTC)Antwort
Huh. Beats me. Anyway, no harm done, as I reverted the article and restored your intended change. Take care. --76.117.164.50 (talk) 16:24, 23 July 2009 (UTC)Antwort
Yeah, just tested/reverted myself. My guess is I have a Greasemonkey script called DumbQuotes that might be the culprit. Thanks for pointing it out: I don't wanna go around ruining articles! swain (talk) 16:26, 23 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
