Peter James Hobday (born 16 February 1937) was a presenter on the early morning radio programme Today.[1] He was the anchorman for the award-winning The Money Programme on BBC television. He helped launch the late night current affairs programme Newsnight on BBC2, where he was both an anchorman and economic specialist. He also helped launch the Business Programme on Channel 4.
