Born Antonio Carmine Di Bartolomeo,[1] in Slough Berkshire on the 24th August 1964, Antonio Carmine Di Bartolomeo is an English singer performing under the stage name Tony Di Bart. Tony began his career as a bathroom salesman in Iver, Buckinghamshire, before achieving chart success.[2]

Tony topped the charts in the United Kingdom during 1994 for one week[3] with a remixed version of his co- written[3] 1993 release, The Real Thing. Di Bart has since released 41 versions of The Real Thing in addition to various other releases, none of which has seen any success.[4] but he still makes appearances when requested and was one of the judges at a village fete in Iver, Buckinghamshire, in 2013[5][6] and in Skegness[7] in 2014 as he continues to promote the 1994 single "The Real Thing"
