Men's tournament
Argentina men's football team qualified for the Olympics after sealing triumph at the 2015 South American Youth Championship in Uruguay.[1]

Sailing
Argentina has qualified one boat for each of the following events upon receiving a place from the 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships.[2]
- Men's sailboard – RS:X (Mariano Reutemann)
- Mixed multihull – Nacra 17 (Santiago Lange & Cecilia Carranza Saroli)
Swimming
Argentine swimmers have so far achieved qualifying standards in the following events (up to a maximum of 2 swimmers in each event at the Olympic Qualifying Time (OQT), and potentially 1 at the Olympic Selection Time (OST)):[3][4]
