The 2020–21 Basketball Champions League will be the fifth season of the Basketball Champions League (BCL), a European-wide professional basketball competition for clubs launched and managed by FIBA.

The start date of the season is not known yet as the previous season will be delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Country ranking

For the 2020–21 Basketball Champions League, the countries are allocated places according to their place on the Basketball Champions League rankings,[citation needed] which takes into account their performance in European competitions from 2017–18 to 2019–20.[1]

Note: The play-offs of the 2019–20 season have yet to be completed, which can change the standings.

    France (FRA): The LNB ruled the 2019–20 Pro A season void without a classification. As a result, the BCL ruled that teams from France were selected on their BCL club rankings. JDA Dijon and SIG Strasbourg qualified as such.[12]
