Hi Jkaharper, Please email me before you undo my revision to this biography. The prior stub was terribly inaccurate and confused Mrs. Knauer's career with that of her mentee Elizabeth Dole. I assure you that Mrs. Knauer did not start in the Johnson administration. There were numerous other problems with the prior. It seems to have been all mashed together. Thank you!
