editInherited from Maharastri Prakrit 𑀑𑀚𑁆𑀛𑀭𑀺𑀅 (ojjharia, “thrown aside”). Compare Sindhi اوجِهرَڻُ / ओझिरणु (“to nod from drowsiness”), Maithili ओझराएब (ōjhᵊrāēb) / 𑒍𑒗𑒩𑒰𑒋𑒥 (ōjharāēba).[1]
