Fair use rationale for Image:LOGOUCA1.jpg

[edit]

Image:LOGOUCA1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 23:22, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Number of programs and students

[edit]

Hi. It seems to me as if the info on the amount of students and programs is outdated. Does anyone know where updated statistics are available? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Albtho (talkcontribs) 05:19, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Prince of Asturias Foundation Emblem.svg appears in this article next to the name of the university. Apparently someone has "stamped" with this logo, every article of organizations that received the Prince of Austurias Foundation Award at some point in history. This university received this award in 1990, for outstanding achievements in the social sciences and the humanities. There is no problem that the coat of arms is there to remind people of this. However, it could be good to include some explanation about the reason this coat of arms is next to the university's name. It is also problematic that this picture appears as the university logo, in other social media websites that fetch information from Wikipedia. There, it seems as if the emblem is the logo of the university, which is directly misleading. I suggest that the real logo of the university is uploaded, and that an explanation about this emblem is added. If that cannot be done, this emblem should be removed.
