Among the undisclosed expenditure was $10,000 spent on transactions that started in late 2005, just after Thomson moved interstate from Victoria into the Dobell electorate and set up a community group which boosted his profile in Dobell, and continued until just after the election in November 2007 when he abandoned the community group.<ref>http://www.smh.com.au/national/doubts-over-disclosure-of-poll-fund-20090408-a0vs.html| Retrieved 2010-05-23 </ref>
