Hello Cruel World

I work in the UK, teaching law, psychology and criminal investigation. From time to time I may edit a page or two, but I'm not a regular here! I tend to stick to topics that I know a little about such as :

• English criminal law, especially fraud and dishonesty, and procedural law
• Egyptology
• English social history

I've an eclectic list of interests, including (but in no way limited to) Law, Investigation, Egyptology, Tattooing (go on - you guessed that one, didn't you), literature, genetics, psychology...

My biggest hate about this project is numpties who make changes that are utter rubbish or who delete my edits without chatting to me about them.

If you disagree with any of my edits, please consider the following first :

1. As I say above, I'm not a regular and have a number of calls on my time. If an article looks unfinished, that may be because something came up and I got called away. Don't delete my work, take a breath and wait - I'll normally get it finished next time I'm on, but that might be a month away!
2. If you don't like my changes, please leave me a message here and I'll respond when I'm next on.

Stuff What I Wrote

I've added, altered and generally fiddled with stuff like...

• KV50, 51, 52, 53, and 54
• Some of the 18th dynasty Egyptians
• Lascelles in the 17th Century
• Various footbally stuff
• RIPA, PACE, Ghosh and other bits of English law

I hate bad grammar & will savagely amend for clarity.

I'm currently fiddling around with a stack of unreferenced biogs, as suggested by my watchlist. Starting to get a tad bored with this - at least half of them are shameless self-publicity by meaningless people.

Stuff I'm Going to Do...

• Sort out RIPA - it's full of rubbish!
• Finish the Mount Grace Priory entry and some linked stubs.
• Write a page or two on unknown bits of law that have quite an impact on fraud and dishonesty.
• Finish Peter Lascelles [1] - using [2]
• Update Thomas L - using [3]

...eventually, probably, when I get around to it, unless you've beaten me to it!
