The Old Hanuman temple is located nearby.
Two lakes namely someshwara and eeramma are present.old maremma temple located in village centre.Every year during early December Mari Pooja is held with display. People gather from all near by villages in Ajalapur. Special Pooja takes place for three days. Preparation for the celebration of Mari Pooja starts almost from 1 week. This day the goddess will be decorated with flowers.old hanuman temple also located in this village.

Azalapur is a panchayat village[1] in the south Indian state of Karnataka.[2][3] Administratively, Azalapur is under Gurumitkal Taluka of Yadgir District.[3]

Geography

The village is 3.5km by road northwest of the village of Ujjelli in Telangana, and 20km by road east of the town of Saidapur in Yadgir Taluka. The nearest railhead is in Yadgir.[4] Two lakes are located there.
