- There is a new template, {{IPA-de}}, for indicating German pronunciations. Please use it instead of {{IPA}} or {{IPA2}} when showing the pronunciation of German words.
- I added yet another Anti-Nazi parody of the Horst Wessel Lied and translated it here. I think it's a good translation but would feel more comfortable if other Wikipedians checked it. I made further small modifications to the parody and my translation but updating the link every time is too much I feel. Proxima Centauri (talk) 10:38, 20 July 2013 (UTC)

- A German speaker is needed at the article for Stiftskeller St. Peter, claimed to be oldest restaurant in Europe, dating at least to 803 AD, the time of Charlemagne and Alcuin, according to a claim on the restaurant website. I imported a citation from the same topic's German WP article that links to a Google Book citation (in German) that might (?) provide a reliable source. But I don't read German. Please, someone who speaks German should give this some attention and fix or strengthen as needed. Thanks -- Presearch (talk) 18:58, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
- Done - ref #1 and #2 are only borderline reliable (ref 1 has a clear self-interest and "believes", ref #2 is a fun fact listing with little evidence of professional research).
