D.tortonese is a valid species, it lives also in East Atlantic, and the picture is a misidentification of D.pastinaca (for the yellow spot under the eyes)

Tortonese's stingray (Dasyatis tortonesei) is a species of stingray of the family Dasyatidae. It occurs in the eastern Atlantic from Morocco to Mauritania,[1] and is also found in the Mediterranean Sea.[2]
