I disagree... You can argue all you want about the spelling of your deserts, but, in the end, it won't change your desserts... however, despite this, and whether you deserve it or not, deserving to get something has nothing whatsoever to do with getting it.

Especially given the example given (re 'just deserts') is spelled wrong, and should be 'just desserts'.DermottBanana (talk) 00:11, 17 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I concur. 'Desert' (DEZ-ert) refers to an arid locale. 'Dessert' (duh-ZERT) refers to the last course of a meal, or a reward. I therefore propose changing the spelling used in this article to 'dessert'. LorenzoB (talk) 04:19, 13 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I disagree... I have fixed all of the misspellings of "dessert" (please note my use of omission in the reason for my edit because I wasn't logged in), but can someone please fix the spelling of the page title?
