– Currently, the main "Jim Strickland" is about an obscure baseball player from the 70s. I think this Jim Strickland, as the sitting mayor of a major city, meets the qualifications for being the primary topic. CountGrasshopper (talk) 22:09, 5 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A disambiguation page may be warranted. Neither the political or baseball player is very widely-known. And there are other Jim Stricklands, such a basketball player (and here) as well as one from an earlier era); also a golfer and a musician. older ≠ wiser 12:51, 6 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Besmirching Mayor Strickland's accomplishments[edit]

I'm sorry. I hate to see pettiness get in the way of the truth, but it seems someone keeps trying to sweep under the rug Jim Strickland's hamburgaling accomplishments.
