{{Short description|Public college in Bangladesh}}
'''Noakhali Government College''' is one of the largest public colleges in [[Bangladesh]]. It was founded in 1963 as a small private institution in [[Maizdee]] town with a high hope to enlighten the students of this area. Success came within five years of its inception, as the then government nationalized the college in 1968.This is due to the strong administrative skill and zero tollerance honesty of the founding Principal "Professor Mohammadullah". He had become the chairman of Jessor and comilla Board later. The institution has now two campuses—the old and original one where Higher Secondary education is provided, and the main campus that provides education for pass course, honors, and master's degrees under the National University. The college currently has honors course in 15 disciplines and Master's course in 12 disciplines. The number of students is no less than 10,000. The students of this college have so far proved their skill not only in academic arena but also in cultural and sports fields. The present principal of this college is Professor Nimai chad biswas, the result of this college is good.The result of last h.s.c exwm is 92 Percent in commarce group.
