His aim is to create awareness about our Trees & Plants, winged friends (Birds), Butterflies, etc. in particular & nature around us in general. He has also started to dabble a bit with oil paints for last few years.

Around 14,000 species' pages (with more than 4,00,000 images) of seed plants, ferns, fungi & others are available with details for those species which have already been discussed in eFloraIndia e-group along with comparative images at genus and family pages. It is the largest database on net on Indian Flora.
He is the owner of 'Indiantreepix' - a google group http://groups.google.co.in/group/indiantreepix?hl=en (around 958 members on 16/8/09), the largest e-group in India (around 8000 messages in first 7 months of 2009), which is dedicated to discussion on Indian Flora along with creating a Database of Indian Flora.
