In 1971, Li Yapeng was born in [[Shuimogou District]], [[Ürümqi]], [[Xinjiang]]. He has an elder brother, Li Yawei, who is 2 years older than him and is his business partner.
On September 27, 1971, Li Yapeng was born in ShuiMoGou area, Ürümqi, Xinjiang. His family members include his father, mother and his two-year-older brother. In 1978, this was the happiest childhood time, as Li Yapeng's every picture at that time has been filled with laughter. In 1982, he results were good marks in the unit primary school where his parents worked. He was rated as one of the ten outstanding young pioneers in the autonomous regions, with the city's top fourth average. He went to XinJiang BaYi Senior school. From 1983 to 1986, he became a monitor in the junior high school and youth corps committee secretary. In July 1986, he failed the junior school to high school test when he was 15 years old, so he packed up the bags from XinJiang to his aunt's home in HeFei, AnHui, and went to the eighth middle school in HeFei city. From September 1986 to September 1989, he lived alone in the house, because of the fear, he placed a mirror in front of the desk, so he could see his front and behind in the mirror. He often looked in the mirror and thought of his own future. In September 1989, because of attacked with people who form outside of the school, so he was forced to leave HeFei and back to the BaYi senior high school. In October 1989, he started his first love romance. Li Yapeng thinks the first love is perfect or not is likely to affect the attitude to someone's life, Li Yapeng glad that he had a good first love. He got an admission to the Chinese Central academy of drama. End of July 1990, the university entrance exam is finished, accompany girlfriend into the central academy of drama examination room, Li Yapeng said that probably is the temperature of XinJiang is too high, the teacher can not adapt to him, so he got into the central academy of drama without any art specialty admissions. In September 1990, he study in the Central academy of drama with his girlfriend. After a week, because he can not understand that why the students are so happy every day, so he went to TianJin to contact the transfer matters, but it failed. And because of his girlfriend have the different expectations of future with him, he break up with her peacefully. In October 1990, a performance lesson called "the liberation of nature", Li Yapeng cried silently. His four years of "transform" life began.
