In the past seventy years not only have we seen the disappearance of the Shiftworkers’, Commercial, Metropolitan, Church and Public Service Leagues, but we have seen the demise of many once proud clubs. Hamilton Cities, SGIO, Queensland Newspapers, Police, Firefighters, Brisbane City Council, Taxation, DPI, Main Roads, CUA have all gone, to name but a few. However Normanby still stands strong. This is a tribute to those who have gone before and who have built such a strong foundation on which this proud club now stands.
