Moroccan regions are now governed by an elected president and council, since last local and regional election that took place last month . The governor ("Wali") doesn't rule over the region, but ensures the consistency of the regional council work with the central government directives.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Newton Island (Antarctica), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Laplace Island (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi Ljgua124. With the name change of Bas-Congo Province, you might wish to edit the Kongo Central page. It now seems outdated. I don't know enough about the name change to do it myself. Cptmrmcmillan (talk) 05:53, 13 May 2016 (UTC)
