Santo Domingo Metro

EdwinCasadoBaez; you have added very valuable info and images but, "with all due respect", you have to improve on the English and the way the article is expressed, remember that this is for an international viewer and we must place Santo Domingo high on top, you must have a native English speaking friend around!, and believe me, i myself go to great lengths to have my articles in either, Español or English (or other languages) be polished and professional! Furthermore, every place on earth that has an efficient public transportation system thrives, this metro will definitely jump start Santo Domingo into the future, believe me, when Chicago, Buenos Aires, London or Berlin put their systems to work, those cities had a chaotic transport system witch prevented progress, many people where unemployed, slums where around, an efficient transport system will change the fisionomy of the city for betterment, new jobs will come, change will be inevitable, Santo Domingo is prime for this type of transport system, Alstom and Siemens have been installing metro systems for over 100 years, they are pioneers, they know what they are doing.

Sorry about the quick speedy, but I'm not psychic. I base these things on what's there, not what's going to be there. What was there in the intial version was speedy-able due to language. Estimado EdwinCasadoBaez, muy bueno el Infobox Public transit aunque le haria los siguientes cambios:

Began operation significa que ya funciona, lo cambiaria a "Inauguration" Villa Melia no creo que sea necesario para un publico internacional y Daily Ridership le pondria "200.000 (projected)"

Y la categoria "Rapid transit in the Dominican Republic" no es necesario, la quitaria, la veo como vandalismo, esta persona ya hizo cambios en otras paginas ferroviarias en cuales algunos son inaceptables, la remplazaria con "Transportation in the Dominican Republic" como estaba antes, yo la coloque mientras tanto en See also – Moebiusuibeom-en 12:07, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

Estimado EdwinCasadoBaez; SI, le voy a dar un vistazo al articulo de Santo Domingo, como te dije me interesan temas de índole urbanística, ferroviaria y ambiental.

En el Metro de Santo Domingo agregastes For Metropolitan Santo Domingo See Santo Domingo, NO ES NECESARIO, debajo de esa linea hay un link a Santo Domingo, ademas es un tema ferroviario. Lo mejor es dejar los articulos tranquilitos hasta que halla info concreta, las páginas ganadoras son las que menos interferencias tienen, las páginas minimalistas tambien obtienen credito, yo se que todos tenemos el impulso de estar modificando los articulos pero no se ve bien al menos que sean cambios concretos y de significancia, y a propósito, el mes que viene me doy una vueltita por tu patria, Saludos – Moebiusuibeom-en 01:10, 29 April 2007 (UTC)

EdwinCasadoBaez; en articulo de Santiago no combiene incluir Demographics y Government si no hay info disponible, ademas Demographics por lo general aplica a naciones, te puli un poco la data nuevamente. Voy a fucionar New and planned projects con Growth and Development si estas de acuerdo, es masomenos el mismo tema. Porque no incluir nuevas secciones como Culture: Music, Monuments, Festivals, Theatres y Night life y Arquitecture ya que hay algunas construcciones sobresalientes tengo entendido – y por ultimo, el "Infobox City" esta descuadrado, vos sabés corregir esto? Hello, Edwin I saw your post on my comment page. I appreciate your compliments, but they don't belong to me. I have done some minor work on the Santiago de los Caballeros article, but far from a "great work". Those compliments belong to someone else. Anyway, I'm willing to strive for a "great work" of my own :-). Do you have anything in mind? I have a few pictures I took a couple of months ago... we could use some of those. Santo Domingo Article

Hola Edwin, article is well written, done extensive small corrections, I believe you should merge Ciudad Trujillo into article so we can eliminate infobox, the map of Santo Domingo Metro should be eliminated and used exclusively with the Santo Domingo Metro article, we may need a better image for (UNESCO Box) "Colonial City of Santo Domingo" and image: "A view of Santo Domingo" is terrible, I would eliminate this one, we need some additional high quality photos! Also a section on Music; “Merengue or Bachata” would not be a bad idea, witch is where internationally known by Juan Luis Guerra was born.

Ciudad Colonial versus Zona Colonial District Article

Hey, did some "tweaking" here too, tried to fusion together Ciudad Colonial with Zona Colonial District since Ciudad Colonial is Articles Name and it's also UNESCO's name but apparently to the masses its known as Zona Colonial District, please clear me up on this subject and if changes i did don't make sense let me know, I've also re-rated articles since I believe they where truly underrated – Moebiusuibeom-en 03:03, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

EdwinCasadoBaez; hola, the hize un "copyedit" y como no hay suficiente info sobre el largo del sistema o las estaciones, simplifique un poquito el articulo para que no salga el Indice y crear un articulo que resalte de los otros con un look minimilista, agregue unos buenos links. Espero estes de acuerdo, comunicate con FEVE (en español) y pideles unas imagenes en alta res., si no estas seguro como hacerlo comunicate conmigo. Dominican Republic article

Hello, Edwin I've seen that the DR article doesn't have a neutral point of view, but worst of all, that several editors (which I think it is only one, two at most) make it look like we are vandals if we try to correct anything! It's going to take a loooong time to correct, but I think it can be done. We just need to do our homework, find better references than "hispaniola.com" and "stay cool", because if we don't, we might be considered the vandals. I suggest we start with the History section.
