Rustie Lee is an television chef and actress, most famous for her appearing in the 1980s on UK morning station, TV-am.[1] She was born in Jamaica. However, she also appeared as a presenter on the second, less successful, incarnation of ITV gameshow Game for a Laugh.

Rustie has rarely been seen since TV-am, though she had a career as a singer. In summer 2004 she appeared on Living's I'm Famous and Frightened! 2, a reality show featuring a number of celebrities staying in a castle over a weekend, taking part in various challenges and looking for paranormal activity, guided by a medium. Viewers voted for their favourite and the celebrities were voted off one by one. Rustie won the series showing a keen interest in the tasks and occasional emotional involvement, giving detailed and varied accounts of how she felt at certain points. In 2004 she joined the UK Independence Party[1], and was adopted as their candidate for the Wyre Forest constituency in the 2005 general election. She also appeared in the party's election broadcast. On polling day she came fifth, with 1,074 votes (2.3% of the total).

Rustie Lee is also a popular figure on Virgin Radio particularly on the Geoff Lloyd show. He has interviewed her on numerous occasions.

Other Projects: Rustie is also lined up with Paul Daniels and Todd Carty to play the voice of the Gatekeeper in the new updated CGI series of Wizbit due to be aired 2008/2009.

In summer 2007 Rustie and a small team of four flew out to Jamaica film for her DVD and get the photography for her new cook book “A Taste of the Caribbean”. While out there Rustie me such fantastic people that welcomed her and the crew into their homes and helped us achieve that days filming with great success. Fresh Fish from the sea behind us, herbs and vegetable grown in the plot of land they have and recently picked fruit from a near growing tree. Rustie recalls this memory with great fondness as the fishing bay was a fantastic backdrop to emphasise how simple and happy living can really be. Rustie created her infamous Jerk chicken, journey cakes, guava jam/juice and Snapper fish with the families cooking equipment which consisted of two car wheel trims for Hobs a small oil drum to create a closed BBQ… Rustie commented: “It just goes to show you don’t need a luxury kitchen to produce fantastic tasting food!”

and is to appear in EastEnders in 2008 as Gus Smith's aunt Opal.[2]
