The Friche (an arts centre, including visual arts) and the Municipal library do not under the heading you created "Opera and theatre". Suggesting the opposite, as your recent edit did, is effectively vandalism. Please think carefully about what you're doing before making edits. Hi! I welcome comments and suggestions.

READ THIS FIRST: You may place valid comments here. However, I will ignore any comments from anonymous identities. Also note that if you place uncivil comments, they may be retained for a later date as evidence.

I spent ages last night trying to improve the Gosford site to find its been deleted. For starters the introduction sounds ridiculous- "Gosford is the main city of the Central Coast of New South Wales, located approximately 50 km north of the Sydney Central Business District (CBD) as the crow flies, but somewhat further by road due to the shape of the coastline". Surely that can be re-worded. Gosford is one of the largest cities in NSW and it has a very poor Wikipedia site that I was trying to improve. Talking about the ailing CBD is not my point of view, it is the belief of the entire community. Certainly I would be more qualified to make statements about Gosford, as I actually live here. It is a major issue here which is well publicised in the media. Also, the revitalisation plans are on the Gosford City website. It wasn't written that they were being constructed or anything, simply that they were proposed. It would be far more appreciated that instead of deleting the information that was put on this page to give people more accurate information on Gosford, make suggestions on how it can be improved, or that references and sources should be added.

Geoffrey Edelsten

Please restrict your comments on the talk page for this article to collaboration on the improvement of the article, rather than calling other editors disruptive. You are misinterpreting policy when you say things like "any removal of cited, referenced material is disruptive editing"; that is simply not the case. Cited material may be removed for stylistic purposes, for NPOV purposes, certainly for BLP purposes. Your comments on that talk page are becoming increasingly hostile, with insinuations that editors are personal proxies of Mr. Edelsten. It's not helpful, and I'd ask that you stop. Please also note that this article has been subjected to scrutiny under the m:OTRS legal queue as the result of a complaint. Please do not revert any edits regarding that OTRS ticket without prior discussion with the OTRS representative (that would be me.) Thanks. "Less qualified editor"

Please could you avoid using this term to describe yourself in WP edit summaries? (Problems of self-esteem can usually be dealt with off-wiki.) Mathsci (talk) 22:36, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your comments on my talk page seem inappropriate and uninformed. Wikiscribe's reinstated template at the top of Europe was removed almost immediately by another editor who agreed entirely with my appraisal - somebody pushing an extreme point of view with no justification. Since you seem to have had some difficulty taking that in and have made no edits to Europe, why not simply MYIB? Otherwise you might come across as something of a stirrer. Mathsci (talk) 23:34, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It seems sir mathsci is trying to show you up as well he is a very rude person , i see im not the only person who seems to have a problem with the way mathsci conducts himself on wikipedia though i can't say im surprized , mathsci is misleading you my so called extreme point of view was not a point of view at all i just want the c.i.a world factbook definition of the european regions added next to the united nations opinion of european regions hardly extreme just trying to make the article nuetral i just misplaced the tag and put it at the top of the article instead of the part of the article i was disputeing--Wikiscribe (talk) 17:34, 4 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think those sources fit what you asked for, if not, let me know. I have a ton of research in this area. TRAVELLINGCARIMy storyTell me yours 14:45, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

True, I can dig out more but I really don't want to oversource the lead either, per WP:LEAD. Is there a section where you think it would fit better in the article? I'll probably get back to sourcing and expanding this at the weekend. TRAVELLINGCARIMy storyTell me yours 00:35, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh I definitely agree that it's encyclopedic, just trying to figure out where it fits best. I think I have an idea that will naturally feed off the lead. Just need to figure out how to word it and dig out some of the sources. TRAVELLINGCARIMy storyTell me yours 11:41, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Notable people from Dunedin

Hi Michelle - I've undone your edit to Notable people from Dunedin - just because Jeffrey harris does not yet have an article doesn't automatically make him non-notable - he is, in fact, one of New Zealand's dozen or so most highly recognised painters (in fact, he would be many times more notable than Claire Beynon, whose blue-link you left in place. Claire's a nice person, and does very fine art, but she'd be only borderline notable by WP standards). It's always worth doing a google search to double-check before removing redlinks to lists like this. Still, it's encouraged me to write a stub article on Harris's art. Grutness...wha? 00:50, 14 April 2008 (UTC) (who is, in the "real world", an arts reviewer for the Otago Daily Times in Dunedin)[reply]

looks like

matt shervington lives in davidson. so i took the others out too, because there's no source. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.51.0.38 (talk) 02:09, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
