Quite a few years off the mark there - to what Bach says, Wagner replies "this fast-growing tendency to chain men to machine[-readable data] and deprive them of all joy in their efforts--the plan will lead to cheap men and cheap products. Ugly and futile; proving, as Nikkimaria shows, that as often, Wagner had it right well ahead of his time. Why, I ponder, should anyone waste their time scattering this sort of dung across assorted article talk-pages, when they could be doing something constructive?
