Closed vs Operating
@69.47.136.111: Lakemont Park is closed for most of the 2017 season, but we know this is not a permanent closure. In fact, the park will be open for its "Holiday Lights on the Lake" in November. Since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, there is no reason to provide short-term status changes to amusement rides, especially when we know that the long-term outlook remains unchanged. You would be changing it to "Closed" now, but then in a few months be changing it back to "Operating". This is unnecessary. Wikipedia is not an amusement park guide. If you have any questions about this, please discuss here or on my talk page. Thank you. --GoneIn60 (talk) 09:49, 14 June 2017 (UTC)
