Omer graduated from [[Wayne State University]] in Detroit, Michigan with a bachelor's degree in finance and from the [[Tepper School of Business]] at [[Carnegie Mellon University]] with an [[MBA]]. In 2000, Omer founded Collaborative Fusion with Bryan Kaplan while both were students at Carnegie Mellon University.
