Roy Baker is one of the most prominent Kickboxers in the world today. He had a long a very sucessfull fighting career, winning many European and World titles. Following his retirement in 2002, he moved in to governance and administration as an executive member of several notable bodies/ he is an executive member of W.A.K.O. The primary world governing body for Kickboxing, recognised by GAISF - Sport Accord.-he is the president of Allstyles Kickboxing Association of ireland, which is the national governing body and also a member of the irish martial Arts Commission (IMAC)

Roy Baker has been practicing Martial Arts for over thirty five years and has been at the forefront of the development of Sport Karate and kickboxing in Ireland he is the technical director of WAKO Semi Contact World Wide an executive member of the Irish Martial Arts Commission, which is recognized by the Irish Government as the governing body for martial arts in Ireland, he has been one the main negotiator and developer of this recognition. Roy has won every major title that is worth mentioning and he was the Irish national kickboxing Champion for 20 years at -74kg. Roy was competing at world level for the over two decades, something that is unmatched in the world. He has won more World/European I.A.K.S.A.& W.A.K.O. Kickboxing Medals than any other man in the world today. He continues to be an inspiration to many and continues to develop his association - clubs and students in a positive manner. He is successful in his chosen sport and his chosen career. He continues to lead the BMA schools in progressive and positive development, being a friend, mentor and instructor to all students.
