Surya TV is an Indian general entertainment pay television channel headquartered in Trivandrum, Kerala that was launched in 19 October 1998. It is the second privately-owned television channel in Malayalam-language.The channel is part of Sun TV Network, which is headquartered at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
On 16 March 2017, Surya TV became the third Malayalam-language channel to launch a high-definition simulcast feed broadcasting at 1080i.
Programming
Surya TV is a general entertainment channel with programmes in a wide variety of genres including Malayalam language movies reality shows, talk shows, news programmes, and music-based shows.
