[[West Bank bantustans]] is quickly deteriorating, content-wise, and I think this is the prime evidence that the article is a POVFORK. I am actually surprised the AfD wasn't closed as delete or redirect; reading the DYK nom as well I think the close failed to distinguish between multiple targets due to commentors being unfamiliar, and multiple targets due to a completely unclear scope due to it being a soapbox. Looking at recent edits and expansions of prose, there's an aggressive POV being pushed. I'm not very active in this topic area, but wow, what a mess. I think I see why there's 4 ARBPIA cases now. ::This article and the discussions around it are IMO extremely typical of PIA and DS areas in general and it's why I generally stay out of DS areas and am in favor of deprecating DS (since it's not enforced anyway, as can be seen here). If the purpose of DS is to be a tool to stop POV pushers from pushing POV, it is never used for that purpose. No admin does or says anything about bludgeoning, or the personal attacks, either. The experience of what it's like to edit in a DS area is such a damning indictment of the DS system in my eyes. Anyway, I still think a DRV should be filed based on the policy standard being "rough consensus" not "perfect consensus", and based on there being no policy based reason to discount a POVFORK !vote just because !voters thought it was a fork of multiple overlapping articles. What?!

You're a conservative? Well, that changes everything. —valereee (talk) 09:58, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I consider myself a Nixonian Socialist. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 10:04, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah he was big believer in redistribution of oppo research. Lev!vich 17:21, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't know it was contagious! Apparently you can catch it by agreeing with people who have it. (TPS links: 1 2.) Lev!vich 17:21, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe if you wear a mask while you're agreeing with them, you can prevent this? —valereee (talk) 17:30, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
You're right, I must have caught an intellectually-transmitted disease by failing to practice safe discourse with Atsme. Lev!vich 17:34, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Levivich pigeonholed as a known carrier of IDHT Atsme 💬 📧 20:33, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I can't say I'm a socialist because some of my detractors described me as disruptive which isn't very sociable but I do partake in social intercourse. I don't know how I'm politically categorized on Bonaire, but I'll admit to voting far less here than I do in the US, which a single-toed/handless person can count on all digits - no disrespect to the digitally handicapped. Regardless, anyone who intends to have social intercourse with me over the internet, needs to practice safe hex. I sure as hell don't want to catch an HTD from Levivich. 8-[ Atsme 💬 📧 17:48, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I don't have HTD but I am a known carrier of IDHT. Lev!vich 18:35, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Lev, since you're one of my enablers, can you please focus more on my gaming at the Plaza Casino and enable me to win back more of my investment while volunteering my time & money there? Like the time & money I invest on WP, it's for educational purposes and contributes greatly to the sum of all knowledge. Atsme 💬 📧 18:09, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Like this? Lev!vich 18:35, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Known carrier? Perhaps you could become a source of convalescent plasma. Think of the editors who could be saved with a simple inoculation! --Deepfriedokra (talk) 19:00, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

But is the inoculation safe? Can we trust The Man? Who is currently The Man, anyway? —valereee (talk) 19:21, 11 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
waiting on contested election returns... though there is one candidate that says he is The Man due to being handed The Sacred Barbecue Tongs by the Lady of the Lake, others say that is not the correct symbol of power which should be The Stick...--GRuban (talk) 13:18, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I believe The Man is now Kamala. Lev!vich 15:42, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I think you meant "lemmetellyasumthinbout", no? —valereee (talk) 18:20, 15 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

How's your training coming

Brauerei Zipf

on the Seuss-a-phone? Actually I just thought of you when I ran into Zipfer beer from Zipf, Austria, made by the Brauerei Zipf - every one a red link! I'm sure you know why I thought of you. But see de:Brauerei Zipf! Smallbones(smalltalk) 23:26, 16 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

But we do have Zipf's law! I think we have the beginnings of something workable at User:Levivich/Seussipedia; still on target for 1/1. CSPAN is public domain, right? Maybe we should include a video of US Senator Ted Cruz reading Green Eggs and Ham on the Senate floor (as part of a filibuster against Obamacare) (spoiler alert: he does not like Obamacare). [1] Lev¡vich 05:28, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I do not like that single-payer, I do not want it for my mayor. I will not use Obamacare, I will not use it anywhere. I will not use it for a sprain, I will not use it in the rain. I will not use it for my gout, I will not use it for my trout. I will not use it in a bed, I will not use it for my head. I will not use it here or there, I will not use it anywhere! When you're on Arbcom, we'll be expecting decisions written in verse. (Wouldn't be the first. Or second.) Lev¡vich 17:25, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Pretty sure there was a West Wing throughline about a SCOTUS justice who occasionally issued decisions in iambic pentameter. —valereee (talk) 18:39, 17 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

C-SPAN isn't public domain, but you can link to the YouTube version because they clearly have the right to publish it (not a copyright violation). Your timing is ok but you can go a couple of weeks later. If you can explain our linking policy in Seussic pentameter using Zipfer beer as an example then you'll have ...

Merge suggestion

Apparently the user who closed the Reade page move request is a blocked sock (not that the outcome would have been different anyway). Regarding your comment, are you interested in formally creating a proposed content merge to the campaign article? Regards, AzureCitizen (talk) 03:11, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi AzureCitizen, thanks for reaching out. I'd support a merge proposal, but I'm not interested in being part of making the proposal or performing the merge. If you decide to do it at some point, thanks and best of luck! Lev¡vich 04:49, 18 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2020 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2020 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 7 December 2020. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2020 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:59, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sweet. I told this bot to see you if it had any problems with me not votin', and it actually went the full twelve minutes back in time and did it. I didn't think it had the guts, honestly. InedibleHulk (talk) 03:17, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your old one (with the tilted text) was pretty well-executed, but it bothered me for some reason. This one is cheeky and fun. jp×g 07:35, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

ANI report

Sorry for jumping out here, but I don't think you made the right call by merging a general report of a user's behavior and an action proposal against that user, however redundant, with an article-specific complaint all in a single heading that is thereby only thematically related to its first two subheadings. Such structure wouldn't only systematize and endorse the retaliatory exploitations by editors from the first thread, but would also give the false impression that my report was motivated in a way by the first complaint, rather than being simply related to the same user while arising from totally different articles and (group of) users. If you'd like to proceed with the heterogenous merge, I suggest you use a different title for the main section while moving the current title for a new first subsection. I'd leave to you the naming of that main title, but this would need to be done with extreme consideration not to end up in violation of WP:TALKHEADPOV for the explicit user naming. Otherwise, I strongly suggest you recede to the natural structure. Assem Khidhr (talk) 19:29, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Assem Khidhr: OK I put it back to a lvl 2 hdr. Levivich harass/hound 20:02, 24 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
