The Arbitration Committee has concluded the 2021-22 review of the contentious topics system (formerly known as discretionary sanctions), and its final decision is viewable at the revision process page. As part of the review process, the Arbitration Committee has resolved by motion that:

This motion initiates a one-month implementation period for the updates to the contentious topics system. The Arbitration Committee will announce when the initial implementation of the Committee's decision has concluded and the amendments made by the drafting arbitrators in accordance with the Committee's decision take effect. Any editors interested in the implementation process are invited to assist at the implementation talk page, and editors interested in updates may subscribe to the update list.

Babylon 5 Resources I own
9780753500491, 9780753502334, 0440223857, 9780292747227, 9781770412651, 9780819567383. The last one covers other stuff; the first five are exclusively about B5. The third one is a WB product, hence arguably non-independent. That doesn't mean I actually have time to upgrade the 15+ year old articles that have often been redirected, but yes, I have multiple, independent RS for anything you can find. If you want my help on an exemplary project, ask that Spoo (the stuff that's deleted from the history) be userified for improvement. Jclemens (talk) 07:06, 15 December 2022 (UTC)

:@Jclemens Spoo, huh? I think the history of that one is still here. The article appears well referenced at first glance, but on second look it's almost entirely PRIMARY, so I couldn't support restoring it without adding some better sources. And frankly, a lot of what's in might be argued to be WP:OR (since it's based on PRIMARY). Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus&#124;<span style="color:#7CFC00;background:#006400;"> reply here</span> 08:08, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
::Oh, I don't know that it will ever be standalone-worthy, but I was just looking through Google News and there are a couple additional references there. It's a reasonable example of what I could do with what I have. I'll note that the AfD was held while I was inactive and no one notified me of it, despite me being a GA nominator. Frankly, a lot of Wikipedia folks have had a hate-on for that article since it's a former featured article and former FA of the day, hence I'd prefer to resurrect it first. Jclemens (talk) 08:24, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
:::@Jclemens I'll be looking forward to that. Once you have a draft, feel free to ping me and I'll see what I can do. Btw, I just resurrected telescreen, which got redirected a while back after my own deletion suggestion - I just run into some good sources, and I think the article shows the notability of the concept now. Of course, all the good stuff had to be written anew by me (I kept most of the old stuff in but it's unreferenced OR that likely needs to be abridged). Spoo, I am afraid, will be the same... Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus&#124;<span style="color:#7CFC00;background:#006400;"> reply here</span> 11:07, 16 December 2022 (UTC)

:@등혜진 It's good you moved your additions to the main public article, but like I said before, a lot of your content is unreferenced. Your first task to fix your draft, which is still only about half-finished, is to add well formatted, reliable references. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus&#124;<span style="color:#7CFC00;background:#006400;"> reply here</span> 11:12, 16 December 2022 (UTC)

:@KIMMINJEOUNG Regarding your translation from English to Korean, it's a good progress, but there are still untranslated contents (Englsh terms) and there are parts missing references - please find and add references for the parts that don't have them. You also need to copy your article to KOREAN Wikipedia and fix various code problems that will occurr then. A translation should be carried out in the target language from day one, now I am afraid you'll have to spend some time fixing various code issues. After the article is copied to your sandbox on Korean Wikipedia and fixed, please let me know and I'll review it again.
:Regarding your article about Korean microregions, it's an early draft with many issues to fix. First, you needlessly duplicate the definition of ecoregions - that's not needed, this is what the ecoregion article is for. So everything above the secton 'ecoregions in south korea' is, I am afraid, not relevant to your project. Your Korean section is on topic, which is good, but it's entirely unreferenced. You also need to add blue links and images. Please let me know when you have a second version ready for a review, one with references and blue links and images. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus&#124;<span style="color:#7CFC00;background:#006400;"> reply here</span> 11:59, 16 December 2022 (UTC)

Image requested template
Hello Professor,

Hey Piotrus,
Since I was not sure where we have to hand in our assignments, it seemed appropriate to hand in a list of finished pages:

I had a look at the "image requested" template you mentioned, and I see that it's used by >170k pages. From a quick sampling, I agree with you that most of them seem to already have an image, so the tag seems outdated.
* Cosmetic surgery in South Korea, submitted as a draft.
* Cosmetische Chirurgie in Zuid-Korea, the Dutch translation of our wiki article.
* Rivierenland page for Understanding big & small data with wikis class.

I've seen so many Wikipedia bots, that I'm actually surprised this is not done somehow automatically. Do you think it would make sense to have a bot that automatically removes this template for all pages where there is already an image? We could start by ignoring all the templates where the parameters (e.g., "in", "of") are populated, which could be referring to a particular sub-section of the article.

Image requested template

Hey Piotrus,

I had a look at the "image requested" template you mentioned, and I see that it's used by >170k pages. From a quick sampling, I agree with you that most of them seem to already have an image, so the tag seems outdated.
