This page is about my work at DYK. This will also help should I require a QPQ for a further nomination. I may review hooks because I have some interest in it after doing my first nomination. I was introduced to DYK because of theleekycauldron and her RfA. I personally never knew this existed until reading her RfA so thank you for getting me into DYK.

Nominations

• I currently have two DYK (which stands for did you know) nominations. The first one is cozy game (DYK nomination template) in which Andrzejbanas made that. I just nominated it within the 7 day period and it was a success! The dates in brackets are when the hook was on the main page.
  • "that Animal Crossing: New Horizons sparked a boom in the popularity of cozy games?" (22 April 2024)
• My other DYK is the one for Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly (DYK nomination template). That was my first successful article and my first successful DYK of an article that I made. Can't believe it was exactly a month apart between my first two DYKs!
  • "that Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly was released after its main creator of Coffee Talk died in March 2022?" (22 May 2024)
• Although this one went onto the main page, it was removed after 10 hours at WP:ERRORS for various reasons. I didn't think the hook was wrong but that isn't the only reason why it was removed from the main page.
  • "that the upgrading of the A9 in Scotland between Perth and Inverness is far from being complete despite its 2025 deadline?" (17 July 2024)

Promotions

I may promote a DYK hook, but not regularly (no more than a few per month) until I gained some experience and also because there is a backlog of over 200 nominations.

DYK preparation

This section is used to prepare my DYK hooks if they reach good article (GA) or gets moved to mainspace respectively. These articles are nominated for GA.
