== Pony Express? ==

Under Statehood (1864), we see the following:
Rather than sending the Nevada constitution to Washington by Pony Express, the full text was sent by telegraph at a cost of $4,303.27

The immediate problem I see is that the Pony Express was no longer in place in 1864. Looking at the one cited source, I don't even see any mention of the Pony Express. Does anybody who knows more about Nevada history care to weigh in? [[User:Against the current|Against the current]] ([[User talk:Against the current|talk]]) 05:27, 4 February 2021 (UTC)

Crime rates don't add up

Property crimes accounted for about 85% of the total crime rate in Nevada [...] The remaining 20.3% were violent crimes. Thats (about) 105.3 %. So either there are (about) 5.3 % violent property crimes that fall under both categories (which should be mentioned so people like me don't begin to wonder) ... or the numbers are wrong. --- DerBuddybär (talk) 11:56, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Why is 2017 mass shooting an entire section of the article?

It's a major event, but certainly not major enough to be a primary section of the state in which it occurred. Should the section be removed and relocated to another section of the article? ~Lord Marcellus 01:05, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Pronunciation.

Most locals in Nevada, or at least in the Reno Carson area, pronounce it Nəvædɑː Nuh,veah,duh. People who have never been to Nevada before usually pronounce it Nɑːvɑːdɑː Likalaruku (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 09:25, 30 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Or those of us who can pronounce Castilian correctly say it as it was always intended. 😂

Just saw a segment on TV where the news guy has had his pronunciation corrected (incorrected in my view) so apparently it is a big deal.

It's a huge deal. Nevadans will get angry if you pronounce it the wrong way. I actually think the "aw" pronunciation should be removed from the article for that reason. 71.94.198.45 (talk) 10:23, 22 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
