Stephen Charles Jones is a British bassist, songwriter and record producer.[1]
Career
Jones has toured and recorded with Robert Plant, Page and Plant, Strange Sensation, Goldfrapp and Siouxsie Sioux.[1][2] He plays both electric and double bass and is most associated with playing a clear acrylic bass. He is currently the bassist for Goldfrapp.[citation needed]
Jones received a Grammy Award in 2009 as a co-writer of the song "Please Read the Letter" from the album Raising Sand by Robert Plant and Alison Krauss.[3]
On 16 September 2013, Jones released his debut solo album Love Form through Stranger Records which highlighted his jazz and classical influences.
