::: And what about [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Noushin_Ahmadi_Khorasani&diff=prev&oldid=1026298235 this]? What is the rationale behind such a change? All the sources I see refer to her as Noushin Ahmadi Khorasani. You are ruining these articles in my opinion, which I think can longer be tolerated. Control copyright icon Hello SharqHabib! Your additions to Symbols of Islam have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. All other images must be made available under a free and open license that allows commercial and derivative reuse to be used on Wikipedia.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps in Wikipedia:Translation#How to translate. See also Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sennecaster (What now?) 03:06, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Chefallen. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Tekhelet have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Thanks.Template:Z186 --Chefallen (talk) 03:14, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Saraikistan National Party moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Saraikistan National Party, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Pak Sarzameen Party, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Vif12vf/Tiberius (talk) 22:13, 30 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Lassi, you may be blocked from editing. Zefr (talk) 16:02, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Multani Khussa. Template:Z189 Drmies (talk) 16:55, 1 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Fowler&fowler. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Shalwar kameez have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse. Please respect consensus. Both the trousers and tunic predate the advent of Islam. They arose in Central Asia, not in Western Asia. You cannot slap on an outsize Islam template in the lead of that article. I have already warned you once.Template:Z186 Fowler&fowler«Talk» 21:58, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Mosesheron. I noticed that you recently removed content from Islamic eschatology without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Also, please avoid using religious texts as sources. We always prefer secondary reliable sources above primary religious texts. Thanks. Mosesheron (talk) 21:58, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Aiyaz Ali has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability, mentioned in passing in a few sources but hasn't been the focus of attention. Boxed in just one fight so far, may become notable in the future but not yet.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Orphaned non-free image File:BOLNews logo.png

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:BOLNews logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:09, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Kaaba. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.

Please read Talk:Muhammad/FAQ and WP:wikipedia is not censored. --John Maynard Friedman (talk) 22:21, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. But I wanted to let you know that I have noticed some extremely troubling aspects of your Wikipedia editing. For example, you have been constantly removing valid content, particularly from Islam related articles, without adequately explaining why those contents should not be on Wikipedia. I feel the necessity to remind you that you must not remove valid content from articles without a valid cause. A talk page discussion is always encouraged. Again, you've been using religious books as references in most of the Islam-related articles I've seen. Worse, you are even using Youtube as a source of reference such as here. Pease note that Wikipedia articles are supposed to be written on secondary reliable sources. Also there are cases where it seems to me that you are deviating from WP:NPOV, such as here. Please take some time to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia policies and guidelines. Take this message as an opportunity to correct your previous mistakes. Also note that I will be paying a very close attention to edits from now on. I'll keep an eye on your progress, and if you don't follow the regulations and rules, I'll ask for a topic ban in the near future, since I believe your editing of Islam-related articles is extremely troubling, and I believe you aren't listening to what others are telling you. Thanks. Mosesheron (talk) 22:53, 31 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not censored. So please do not remove images from articles as you did here. Thanks.
Can you please explain why you removed this?
The user who reverted your edit here referred to MOS:INFOBOXFLAG, according to which "flag icons should not be used in infoboxes, even when there is a "country", "nationality" or equivalent field". Yet you have readded the flag icons by this edit which is clearly edit warring. It seems to me you have no intention to adhere to our policies and guidelines. I am going to report you soon. Mosesheron (talk) 15:33, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

But in the Mashriq article, there are flags mate?

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Islamic eschatology into Signs of the appearance of Mahdi. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa (talk) 12:19, 1 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
