Michael "Mikaben" Benjamin (27 June 1981 – 15 October 2022) was a Haitian singer, songwriter, and producer.[1][2]
Life and career
Michael Benjamin was born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti on 27 June 1981. He was the son of the famous Haitian singer Lionel Benjamin.[3][2]
Death
On the night of Saturday October 15 to 16, 2022, Benjamin died after a concert at the Accor Arena in Paris. He was 41 years old.[4][5] He suffered a cardiac arrest on stage during his performance. Benjamin succumbed shortly after, despite the cardiac massage provided by the rescuers.[6]
