Geography
Gulshan is located at 23°47′30″N 90°25′00″E / 23.7917°N 90.4167°E . It has 50903 units of house hold and total area 53.59 km².
Demographics
As of 1991 Bangladesh censusTemplate:GR, Gulshan has a population of 281337. Males constitute are 55.22% of the population, and females 44.78%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 163160. Gulshan has an average literacy rate of 59.7% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate. [1]
