Bindu Kumar Thapa (Nepali: बिंदु कुमार थापा) is a Nepali politician of Nepali Congress and Minister in Gandaki government since 23 July 2021.[1] He is also serving as member of the Gandaki Province Provincial Assembly.[2] Thapa was elected to the 2017 provincial assembly elections from Kaski 2(A).[3] Mr. Thapa is also the only elected member of provincial assembly from Kaski District representing Nepali Congress. He joined Krishna Chandra Nepali cabinet as Minister for Law, Communication and Provincial Assembly Affairs on 23 July 2021.[4]

Born and raised in Pokhara, Thapa graduated in law from Prithvi Narayan Campus, Pokhara. Before joining politics, Mr. Thapa was the chairman of Pokhara Chamber of Commerce in industries from the year 2014 to 2016.[5] Thapa was also the Vice president of Nepal Automobile Dealers Association from 2008-10. He is also the chairman of Ansuvara Group, the leading business house established in 1993.
