The park features the large 3,800-acre (15 km2) Santa Rosa Reservoir that is home to various fish species including largemouth bass, catfish and even walleye. The park elevation is 4,800 feet (1,500 m) above sea level. The park is located 7 miles (11 km) north of the town of Santa Rosa via New Mexico Route 91.[2]
