Was it really necessary to call that user a bit self-centered? That seems pretty WP:BITEy to me. –MJLTalk 03:21, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Birth date of Adam Leitman Bailey

Hi Lettherebedarklight, where is this information from? I can't find it in the cited source. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:58, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@tobefree: i just took it from the infobox. didn't bother to check the source. whoops. lettherebedarklight晚安 05:33, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, no worries. I was afraid I had overlooked something in the source. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 05:53, 31 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

User page

Hi lettherebedarklight. I came across your use page today and noted the altered "semi-retired" notice. Since the word you used is considered a slur by many, any chance you could change it to something else? Thanks. Isabelle Belato 🏳‍🌈 18:35, 11 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

it is? darn, i saw it, thought it was funny, and stole it. removed now. lettherebedarklight晚安 18:37, 11 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Teahouse

At the Teahouse, you inexplicably wrote we don't have content policies. Where did you get that notion? We have three interrelated and mandatory core content policies, which are Verifiability, the Neutral point of view and OR|No original research. We have essential content policies about Biographies of living people and Copyright compliance and other things as well. Please do not answer policy questions when it is clear that you are not conversant with the actual policies. Cullen328 (talk) 08:00, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

i meant content policies in the sense that the asker meant it. lettherebedarklight晚安 10:04, 21 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

yeah

I think you're right, not sure whether it's quite enough similarity yet, but I'll keep an eye on it, and thanks! Valereee (talk) 12:14, 15 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your welcome! I’m glad I feel safe out there. ~WikiCoverings11111 (message) 14:24, 15 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Citation Archive

Thanks for your good faith non-admin close. I don't think anybody's going to object to this closure, but I'll take a liberty and give critique: normally, we shouldn't close a deletion procedure early in a case where the nominator has withdrawn their nom, but at least one other participant has asserted delete. I would have left the process to run its full seven days. In this instance, I think your keep closure was a correct reading of the discussion and I believe the outcome would have been the same if you'd allowed the process to continue. I encourage you to continue closing in obvious cases to get a feel for the process (and make a few mistakes, frankly). Please accept this call-out as such encouragement, not any sort of warning. If you ever need help, feel free to call on me. Thanks for your efforts. BusterD (talk) 13:21, 15 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
