Bildung

Nana Kwame Bediako was born in Kumasi, Ghana. He attended Accra Academy before moving to Apam Senior High School. He studied business at the Waltham Forest College, United Kingdom.[4]

Business career

Nana specialises in four sectors of real estate: Residential, Commercial, National, and now, Industrial development. His biggest ongoing project, Petronia City Industrial Park, is a first-of-its-kind industrial platform which is slated to house petrochemical clusters, a manufacturing hub, a technology hub, and an energy city.[5] Petronia is the biggest industrial hub creating a distribution channel to feed the supply for and meet the continental demand of the African industrial revolution. Nana is building a gas power plant to provide uninterrupted power supply to off-takers to produce materials and manufacture goods at a lower cost than inter-continental competitors. This power plant would not only provide energy to the off-takers, but also serve Petronia’s methanol power plant to create petrochemicals for regional demand.[6]

In addition to his industrialization efforts, Nana has decided to build the first and biggest free zone enclave for crypto mining that will incentivize global investors and developers worldwide who want to situate themselves on Petronia’s platform for both the energy and data centres. This will become the digital financial hub which is necessary to accelerate and optimize the benefits of the African Free Trade Agreement.[7]

The fluctuation of the value of African currencies has inspired Nana Kwame to build a native coin, The Freedom Coin, and integrate it within these hubs of development to create value amongst the nations of Africa.[8] In doing so, he has partnered with some of the biggest fintechs in the world, with one of his partners being GushCloud. Their partnership will bring about a digital banking system that will facilitate cross-continental remittances and transfers. Freedom Coin gives users the ability to buy and sell crypto assets, NFTs, virtual land, and more; it is bigger than bridging African countries together, it is bridging Africa to the world. His vision is to bring economic balance through exportation, industrialization, and digitization while creating jobs which will develop an African middle class, and ultimately raise the continental GDP.[9]

Nana’s passion and commitment to adding value to and assisting the African people have led to award-winning endeavours within the philanthropic and humanitarian sector as founder of the New Africa Foundation.[10] Nana’s investment in other NGOs, governmental institutions, educational facilities, and the general public is part of his larger vision to develop and restore the integrity of the African continent, which, he believes, starts with developing and restoring the integrity of African citizens.

It’s clear that Nana Kwame has established himself as one of Africa’s most influential and impactful entrepreneurs in history.[11] He is leading the redemptive revolution that Africa has been anticipating, and, although he has a proven track record of success in creating national landmarks, his ambitious aims for Petronia City and Freedom Coin prove that he has only just begun.
