::::@[[User:Thenightaway|Thenightaway]] hello. Could we discuss what the problem is? I asked for the solidification of the deletion, yet you still reverted it by calling the text outdated(?) It's about the history, how can a piece of information be outdated? Whatever, I find most of the text on the article notable.

Commonwealth Franchise Act 1902

Hello

You recently added some sources to the lead of this article. I have removed the relevant part of the lead and the sources you added. "The Act meant that, though the Colony of New Zealand had granted women universal suffrage in 1893 and this carried forward to New Zealand subsequently becoming an independent nation in 1907, Australia was the first independent country to grant 'white' women's suffrage at a national level, and the first country to allow women to stand for Parliament." I did this because the cited sources didn't support this part of the lead (which was written by another editor and appears to be an unsourced editorial comment). I have elaborated on my reason on the relevant Talk page. Happy to discuss. Aemilius Adolphin (talk) 04:00, 28 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of content you added

Sulaiman Al-Fahim edits

Dear Thenightway, I hope you’re doing well. Please may I ask that you stop reverting my edits as there is no reason for you to be doing so. You are currently vandalizing and violating Wikipedia’s code of conduct. Refrain from doing so again without plausible reason. You cannot remove valuable information with sources for no reason whatsoever, I will repeat again, this is vandalism. Thank you for understanding, I hope this won’t occur again. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Politics of Uganda, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ugandan Civil War. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:03, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your edits on Christian Kälin (Career section)

Hi, it's Sarah from Henley & Partners. The last paragraph of the Career section before the Saint Kitts and Nevis subsection is valid from the company's perspective, and not Christian Kälin. Kälin was not personally involved anywhere in this and this should not be on his personal page. In spite of multiple parties involved, you have added this information only on H&P and Kälin's page. This is not neutral as if it was a neutral intention, you would have added the same information on the pages of all other related parties. We are solely being victimized here.

Please remove this paragraph from Christian Kälin's page as it is already mentioned on Henley & Partners page. Thanks

In 2017, Henley conspired with top Maltese politicians to launch lawsuits against investigative journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia who was reporting on Henley's programs in Malta. Leaked email exchanges between top Henley officials (including CEO Christian Kalin), Malta prime minister Joseph Muscat, Justice Minister Owen Bonnici and Individual Investment Program CEO Jonathan Cardona discussing launching a SLAPP (Strategic lawsuit against public participation) lawsuit against Galizia that was intended to financially cripple her for her reporting.Sarah Nicklin (talk) 18:40, 11 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Noura Al Kaabi Removals

TheNightWay, I've observed some of my contributions being reverted by you recently. I'd appreciate it if we could discuss any concerns you might have. It's essential that we both adhere to Wikipedia’s guidelines and ensure all the information presented is credible and sourced - to frequently undo well-sourced edits made in good faith to broaden a page's information should not be such a constant issue with the same user. I hope we can collaborate more effectively moving forward. Best regards. SaintEtsy (talk) 21:37, 8 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Content reverts and continuous negative posts

You recently made some content changes (and in 2021) to the page of Tale Heydarov. I need to understand why these accusations are ongoing when none of the content has been proven and are considered unfounded accusations only. During previous content changes, this was discussed and accusations have been removed but for some reason, these are continuously added back. Please advise why content like this finds its way back into this article and what value this adds to Wiki users. Wisdommonitor (talk) 07:27, 16 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Please can you kindly reply to my request on the above posted more than a month ago now? Wisdommonitor (talk) 13:08, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tale Heydarov

Please kindly advise why you do not want to enter into a discussion on this topic and reverts without any effort to discuss? Wisdommonitor (talk) 13:48, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You're a WP:COI account who is removing RS content for COI reasons. What is there to discuss? Thenightaway (talk) 13:50, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
This is not a COI account. I am trying to understand why unproven accusations are continuously added back and what value unproven content adds? This could become a legal matter soon if we cannot add proof to these content additions. Wisdommonitor (talk) 13:11, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
PS. Removing the content was not for COI reasons - it is for legal reasons as none of these content additions were ever proven and was discussed more than a year ago and removed. Wisdommonitor (talk) 13:12, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Riverkeeper

Hello! You just undid all my edits to the Riverkeeper page. I am new to Wikipedia and would like to make some edits to this page (I just finished gradschool and did an assignment on Riverkeeper. On that occasion I noticed how poor the page is). Would you give me some guidelines on how to not get my edits undone? Any help is appreciated. Thanks MariliaGabrielaCosta (talk) 18:09, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Content needs to be sourced to WP:RS, not to the Riverkeeper website or to content authored by Riverkeeper people. Thenightaway (talk) 18:12, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
That makes total sense. Thanks. MariliaGabrielaCosta (talk) 18:27, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani Removal

TheNightWay, I noticed that you reverted my contribution on the Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani page. I would like to discuss any concerns you may have about it. It is important for both of us to follow Wikipedia's guidelines and make sure that all the information provided is reliable and properly sourced. I hope we can work together more effectively in the future. Best Regards. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Matiasblues (talkcontribs) 12:05, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There is no encyclopedic value in saying two leaders met and generally discussed issues. It's run-of-the-mill news coverage that is of no interest to any readers. Thenightaway (talk) 12:22, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Thenightaway. In line with our previous discussions regarding arbitration, please note that I have submitted a request for a third opinion on the paragraph. Falastur2 Talk 18:59, 7 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Inaccurate additions on the page about Alex Pedersen (politician)

Hello, "Thenightaway." Hoping to resolve this through this "Talk" venue. A sentence you added is misleading and a sentence you added is inaccurate and so there is a suggested revision included below...

You added the following: (1) "In 2023, Pedersen pushed for an amendment to Seattle's Comprehensive Plan that would impose 'impact fees' on new housing." This is materially misleading. As noted in the Seattle Times article you cited, the revenue from the fee would "help fund city transportation projects,' but your addition omitted that relevant point. The fee would apply to all new buildings, not just housing, AND, per the Seattle Times article, it "would likely exempt low-income housing and child care facilities." The amendment would allow a subsequent deliberation on a potential ordinance that could impose the fee, but the amendment to the Comp Plan does not "impose" the fee.

You also added, (2) "Pedersen said that the new tax would allow Seattle to reduce its taxes on homeowners by raising them on renters." This is inaccurate. That was never said and the fee is not a tax. The potential reduction in taxes would be for all properties, not just with homes. There would be no taxes on renters.

For your consideration, a more accurate description would be something like this: "In 2023, Pedersen and Councilmember Lisa Herbold pushed for an amendment to Seattle's Comprehensive Plan, as authorized by State law, that would allow 'impact fees' to be imposed on new buildings "to help fund city transportation projects" and which "would likely exempt low-income housing and child care facilities." The proposed amendment was rejected by the Seattle City Council with four Councilmembers in favor and five opposed.

You could also link to the primary source of the amendment itself (Council Bill 120635, co-sponsored with Lisa Herbold) -- which includes the final vote count -- rather than to a NON-Seattle Times source: https://seattle.legistar.com/LegislationDetail.aspx?ID=6309315&GUID=0123A548-DE7E-440D-98BE-DB3D0205BF16&Options=ID%7CText%7C&Search=120635&FullText=1

We could also handle this through Dispute Resolution / Third Opinion, if you prefer. Thank you. WikiEditorUpdates (talk) 21:18, 22 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nationality on Wikipedia

The way I read WP:CONTEXTBIO, a person's nationality is based on their career period and where they were a resident when they started doing what they became notable for. We don't describe Isaac Asimov as Russian. Nationality on Wikipedia is place of citizenship or permanent residence, not ethnicity. Skyerise (talk) 11:18, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Ministry of Science and Education (Azerbaijan), did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Information icon Hello, I'm Toghrul R. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Azerbaijan State News Agency have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Please don't remove healthy information while cleaning redundant the text Toghrul R (t) 06:25, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

None of this content is reliably sourced. Why did you restore it? Thenightaway (talk) 11:31, 2 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Thenightaway there are certain parts where reliable sources were present. Bulk deleting is not a preferrable choice in such cases. For instance, you've removed information about the agency's memberships, its children portal and etc.
Plus, reliable sourcing should be where it's important. If the text says that Baku is the capital of Azerbaijan, there's no need for a source there. There is certainly some information in the articles that doesn't need sourcing either.
Have a good day Toghrul R (t) 05:00, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There is zero encyclopedic value in the text that was deleted. Wikipedia is not intended to duplicate the official communications of the Azerbaijan government, even though you and a ring of editors from Azerbaijani Wikipedia for some reason think that's what Wikipedia is for. If someone wants to read the official communications of the Azerbaijani government, they can go to the official websites of these ministries. Thenightaway (talk) 11:10, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Thenightaway hello. Could we discuss what the problem is? I asked for the solidification of the deletion, yet you still reverted it by calling the text outdated(?) It's about the history, how can a piece of information be outdated? Whatever, I find most of the text on the article notable.
Here are the parts for reference:

AZERTAC became a member of the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) in 2004.[1] Agency is considered one of the founders of the Association of National Information Agencies of the countries participating in the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Association of News Agencies of Turkish-speaking countries and the Association of National News Agencies of the countries participating in the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization.
