Hot Singles In Your Area is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Scene Queen, released via Hopeless Records on June 28, 2024.[1] The album features artists Wargasm, 6arelyhuman, and The Ready Set.[2]
Composition
Scene Queen stated her inspiration for the album saying "I wrote [this] album about growing up in the early 2000s but not exploring my sexuality until my 20s with all the messy and chaotic situations you find yourself in when you’re trying to find yourself and your own power.”[3] She wrote "Whips and Chains" about the fear of being a woman at a bar.[4]
