Severe Tropical Cyclone Jim was a moderate tropical cyclone which affected Papua New Guinea, Far North Queensland, and the Northern Territory during March 1984. The nineteenth tropical low, seventeenth tropical cyclone, and tenth severe tropical cyclone of the hyperactive 1983–84 Australian region cyclone season, Jim developed from a tropical low southwest of Papua New Guinea on March 5.
