Punucapa (Mapudungun: originally Cunucapi, black/fertile earth for legumes) is a small pre-Hispanic Chilean hamlet (caserío) in Valdivia, Valdivia Province, Los Lagos Region. Its unrivaled location by the Cruces River and the Valdivian Coastal Range make the village an excellent starting point for those who like ecotourism.
