Please do NOT merge this with [[Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX]] (SFU). The Services for Unix product is EOL -- there is no followup release. Interix is one of the components of SFU that is continuing, as it is bundled with the OS. That's what's actually mentioned in the article. It's part of Windows 2003/R2 and is also part of Vista (RTM'ing in a couple weeks). While SFU will, by virtue of hitting EOL, be in a freeze, Interix will not.
