Unfortunately Bishop Hilarion, like all children of the Soviet Union, does have a Communist past. It is uncomfortable and inconvenient for him, no doubt, but he would never have got near the Moscow Conservatoire if he had not excelled in his study of, and veneration for, Marx and Lenin. |
