Highbury is the worst place ever!!!!! there are little drunken maori's walking round picking there noses. there are heaps of wannabe gangsters and plenty of hookers out there if any of you are interested. everyone gets a hiding from there parents with the metal vacuum hose. you hardly ever see a blank wall or fence coz theres graffiti saying cripz and bloodz. never ever go there. you dont know what could happen to you. you get gang bashed by little people coz theve been thru it. theres heaps of hood rats with scabs all over them. and thats all i got to say. hahahahahahahaha!!!! i hope you highbury hood rats see this. coz this aint going anywhere.! oh and CRIPZ FOR LIFE!!!!!! peace out homies.


There are many parks and reserves here which could almost suggest there are a lot of younger people here. Three schools service the area and they are Somerset Crescent, Takaro, and Monrad Intermediate Schools. The main campus in Palmerston North of Te Wananga o Aotearoa is located here also.

Highbury is a suburb of Palmerston North, New Zealand.

Location, features and population

Highbury is located northwest of Palmerston North Central (CBD).The area has a characteristic of a suburban area and had a resident population of 3,240 (2001)[[1]].

Highbury's street name themes range from British placenames (Brighton, Somerset, Lancaster, Coventry, Brentwood) to those of settlers of Palmerston North (Monrad).

There are many parks and reserves here which could almost suggest there are a lot of younger people here. Three schools service the area and they are Somerset Crescent, Takaro, and Monrad Intermediate Schools. The main campus in Palmerston North of Te Wananga o Aotearoa is located here also.

A predominant feature of the area deemed as Highbury is the Cloverlea Tavern, which is on the corner of Gillespies Line and Tremaine Avenue and the 'Highbury Shops' located on the corner of Highbury Avenue and Pembroke Street.

The Monrad Rest Home is located in Highbury.

Many people confuse Westbrook as being a part of Highbury, however Westbrook is a separate suburb.
