I believe that the damage in the TCR is in fact an error as that works out as nearly 3 billion pesos and nothing like that has been said anywhere in any news article, whether spanish or english. I believe it should still be 275 mexican pesos not dollars, I have emailed the NHC and i am awaiting thier response. Also that value only applies to one state, not the whole country. Seeing as the TWD also lists positions, could you add the following positions to the Olga track map, with a low position rather than tropical depression? Thanks if you can. --Hurricanehink (<small>talk</small>) 00:27, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

Tropical Storm Olga was a rare Atlantic December tropical cyclone. The fifteenth named storm of the season, it developed near Puerto Rico on December 11, and quickly struck the Dominican Republic. There, it brought heavy rainfall and severe damage, and caused more than 40 deaths. Casualties were also reported in Puerto Rico and Haiti. The storm greatly weakened as it crossed Hispaniola, degenerating into a remnant low pressure area in the Caribbean Sea on December 13. The remnants of Olga passed near the Yucatán Peninsula before turning northward and bringing rainfall to Florida.

Categories and more
The project has gone under somewhat of a revamping. We have a new, more realistic goal. The members list has been dropped from 89 to 34. This newsletter is to inform users of a change in policy with categories. Previously, an Atlantic and Pacific storm article would have both :Category:Atlantic hurricanes and :Category:Category 3 tropical cyclones. However, the two were combined, resulting in :Category:Category 3 Atlantic hurricanes. The same is done with Pacific hurricanes. Tropical storm articles are dealt with either :Category:Eastern Pacific tropical storms or :Category:Atlantic tropical storms.

Track map request

Is there any chance you could make a cumulative track map for the article on List of Florida hurricanes (1900-1949)? The other Florida hurricane articles have it, so I hope it's not too much of a problem. Here is the listing of every storm by year. Thanks if you can!

--Hurricanehink (talk) 23:30, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot if you can. --Hurricanehink (talk) 04:30, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome, thanks. Hurricanehink (talk) 05:12, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also, can you do the missing ones for this article: 1996 Pacific hurricane season? I couldn't find them for any of the unnamed ones. Good kitty 14:35, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh cool. Can you also do the remaining three for 1992 Atlantic hurricane season? Good kitty 02:17, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

1987 AHS

I need a full season track map and a Tropical Depression Fourteen track map. (Possibly if you can, TD 9).Mitch32contribs 21:37, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There's actually a season summary one at Commons, if that's what you mean. Good kitty 01:09, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, but TD 14's not included. And if you can Ajm, this has the best track for the depression. Also can it be added to the season summary? Thanks.Mitch32contribs 17:07, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Another request.

It doesn't look like this one could possibly be up to date: [1] Good kitty 01:07, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That does seem to be the case. Would you mind checking the second post Talk:Hurricane Ioke#track map? Good kitty 04:21, 27 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could you update the track map for the Retired Pacific hurricane names, by adding Ioke and Paka? If it becomes too big, could you cut it off at the date line? Thanks as always. --Hurricanehink (talk) 18:46, 31 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you think you could make track maps for Akash, Yemyin, and maybe the other three in the NIO page? Good kitty 03:51, 13 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
